The POLARstar OPTIMA multidetection microplate reader offers all the features of the FLUOstar OPTIMA plus fluorescence polarisation and a unique simultaneous dual emission detection system, which allows the detection of two emitted wavelengths at the same time. Simultaneous Dual Emission Detection is especially useful for FRET, BRET and Fluorescence Polarisation assays since the plate only has to be read once, and when compared to other microplate readers, gives increased throughput, improved sensitivity and lower %CVs - no other reader in this price range offers simultaneous dual emission.
