The POLARstar OPTIMA multidetection microplate reader offers all the features of the FLUOstar OPTIMA plus fluorescence polarisation and a unique simultaneous dual emission detection system, which allows the detection of two emitted wavelengths at the same time. Simultaneous Dual Emission Detection is especially useful for FRET, TR-FRET, BRET and Fluorescence Polarisation assays since the plate only has to be read once, and when compared to other microplate readers, gives increased throughput, improved sensitivity and lower %CVs - no other reader in this price range offers simultaneous dual emission.
