About Prof Dr Giovanni Mann

Dr. Giovanni E. Mann is a Professor of Vascular Physiology at King’s College London, where he leads research within the Cardiovascular Division and the British Heart Foundation Centre of Excellence. With a long academic career spanning from early appointments as a lecturer to his professorship, he has contributed extensively to international scientific leadership, serving in roles such as President of the Society of Free Radical Research-International (SFRRI) and other major physiology and microcirculation societies. His research group focuses on understanding oxidative stress, endothelial function, and the regulation of antioxidant defense pathways in vascular health and disease.
