Melissa has been part of the BMG LABTECH team since 2020 and works in cable assembly within the production department. With a strong focus on precision and teamwork, she plays an essential role in the assembly and soldering work that supports the high quality of BMG LABTECH products.

I come from the Black Forest region.
What does your job entail?
My job involves assembly work, soldering, and cable assembly. I am especially proud that I learned how to solder through BMG LABTECH. The soldering training was very interesting and has since become my favorite part of my job.
What did you do before joining BMG LABTECH?
Before joining BMG LABTECH, I worked in production at the Knauer company.
What do you like most about your job?
I really enjoy working with my colleagues. The collaboration and team spirit make my job especially rewarding.
What do you like most about BMG LABTECH?
The cohesion and the great working environment. I love my job, and my colleagues play a big part in that.
What has been a particularly memorable moment at BMG LABTECH?
The company outing to Spitzingsee. It was my first company trip and a fantastic experience. It was great to spend more time with colleagues outside of work. I also really enjoy the Christmas parties, which are always very nice and relaxed.

Team. Precision. Great environment.
What motivates you every day?
Having my colleagues and my family around me.
When you’re not working, what do you enjoy most?
I enjoy spending time with my family. I especially like going on outings with my nephews and nieces—playing with them indoors or outdoors and making them happy brings me a lot of joy. In my free time, I also love visiting amusement parks like Europa Park. Riding roller coasters and experiencing the adrenaline rush is something I really enjoy. At the same time, I like relaxing walks in the forest, enjoying the peace and quiet.
What did you want to be when you were a child?
When I was a kid, I was pretty sure I would become a kindergarten teacher.
