BMG LABTECH Microplate Reader Software Package

German engineered hardware is only one step in making a great microplate reader; the software that runs the instrument and analyzes the data is just as important. To that end, BMG LABTECH has created an extensive software package that provides all of the requirements needed to run a microplate reader and to analyze the data.

BMG LABGTECH has designed two separate software interfaces, a Reader Control interface that runs the instrumentation and a MARS Data Analysis interface that evaluates the measurements made. Two different interfaces allow for the license-free software to be installed where and when it is needed. In particular, the MARS Data Analysis software can be installed on every user’s computer to evaluate data at their desk, without installing the unneeded control software.

Reader Control Software with Programmable App Buttons

BMG LABTECH's control software offers an easy to understand straight forward user interface. The Control software incorporates a quick start feature that allows an endpoint analysis of a plate with no prior training or expertise, as well as many advanced user features for more complex assays.
App style application buttons, predefined and user-defined, can be added to the Reader Control Software home page for quick, easy measurements of your favorite protocols. Some of the predefined App style protocols include: DNA/RNA concentration determination, BCA, Bradford, ELISAs, DLR®, ORAC, Calcium Flux, GFP, cell growth, HTRF®, AlphaScreen®, and many more.

Software Licensing

BMG LABTECH's Reader Control and MARS Data Analysis Software are included with each instrument purchase. BMG LABTECH software can be used on an infinite number of computers. No need to occupy valuable instrumentation time when protocol definition and data analysis can be performed on any computer.

 

FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance*

The BMG LABTECH software includes a multi-user interface and offers all features necessary to establish an FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant system.

 

Software Updates

BMG LABTECH continuously updates its Reader Control and MARS Data Analysis Software to include new software developments and new features, which are mostly user driven. Microsoft Excel^® Compatibility

In 2007 BMG LABTECH released its new Data Analysis Software, MARS. All data from MARS is easily exported to any version of Excel^®. However, BMG LABTECH’s previous version of evaluation software is not compatible with Excel^® after 2007. Contact your local BMG LABTECH representative to find out more about MARS.
