The hERG Fluorescence Polarization Assay Kit from Invitrogen is a simple, fast and cost effective alternative to electrophysiological hERG testing. The assay was performed on BMG LABTECH´s PHERAstar Plus and the results show great similarity to traditional hERG testing. The Simultaneous Dual Emission detection of the PHERAstar Plus provides for outstanding sensitivity and accuracy in fluorescence polarization assays, minimizing read times and increasing Z’ values.
